Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Pat the chicken wings completely dry using paper towels.
- In a large bowl, combine the wings with flour, baking powder, garlic powder, seasoned salt, and black pepper, tossing until evenly coated.
- Line a rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil and layer parchment paper on top. Arrange the wings in a single layer without touching.
- If time allows, refrigerate the seasoned wings uncovered for 30 minutes to enhance crispiness.
Cooking
- Bake the wings for 20 minutes on one side, then flip and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
- Once baked, remove the wings and toss with buffalo sauce while still hot.
- Broil the wings for a few minutes until golden and slightly charred.
Notes
Serve immediately with celery sticks, carrot sticks, and a side of ranch or blue cheese dressing. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven to maintain crispiness.
