Ingredients

Blue Layer
  • 1 box blue raspberry jello (3 oz)
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1/2 cup berry-flavored vodka
White Layer
  • 2 packets unflavored gelatin powder (0.25 oz each)
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1/2 cup boiling water
  • 1/2 cup coconut rum
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
Red Layer
  • 1 box cherry jello (3 oz)
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1/2 cup cherry-flavored vodka, chilled

Method

Blue Layer
  1. In a medium bowl, empty your entire box of blue raspberry jello and pour in the boiling water. Stir continuously for about two minutes until fully dissolved.
  2. Add cold water and berry vodka, stirring until smooth. Fill each 2-ounce plastic cup about one-third full with this mixture and refrigerate for one hour.
White Layer
  1. Combine unflavored gelatin powder with cold water in a separate bowl and whisk until it thickens.
  2. Pour in boiling water and whisk until smooth. Stir in coconut rum and sweetened condensed milk until combined.
  3. Once blue layer has set, gently spoon the white mixture over the top of the blue layer and refrigerate for another hour.
Red Layer
  1. In a clean bowl, mix cherry jello powder with boiling water until dissolved.
  2. Add cold water and chilled cherry vodka, mixing until combined. Pour this red mixture into each cup, filling them to the rim.
Final Chill
  1. Refrigerate the filled cups for at least two hours until fully set. For best results, refrigerate overnight.

Notes

Use chilled liquids to help layers set faster. Store finished shots in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
