Preparation
- Preheat your oven according to the instructions on your french fry bag.
- Spread the frozen fries in a single layer on a baking sheet, giving each piece room to cook properly.
- Bake fries for 20 to 25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Cooking the Beef
- While the fries bake, heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add ground beef and the spices (onion powder, garlic powder, kosher salt, black pepper, and paprika).
- Brown the beef for about 5 to 7 minutes until no pink remains.
- Drain excess grease and set aside.
Making the Burger Sauce
- In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, diced pickles, garlic powder, and onion powder until smooth.
Preparing Fresh Toppings
- Chop romaine and prepare cherry tomatoes and red onion.
Assembling the Bowl
- Start each bowl with romaine lettuce, add beef, tomatoes, onion, pickles, and cheddar.
- Top with crispy fries.
Serving
- Spoon the burger sauce over each bowl before serving.
- Serve immediately to enjoy the contrast of warm and cold ingredients.
Notes
For different flavors, swap ground beef for turkey or plant-based alternatives. Dinner is interactive if toppings are served buffet-style.
