  • 1/2 cup Grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh basil or parsley, chopped (for garnish) Optional

  • 1 Sautéed spinach or mushrooms (to taste) For sneaking in vegetables
  • 1 cup Ricotta cheese For added creaminess

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and lightly coat a 9x13-inch casserole dish with cooking spray.
  2. Pour about a quarter of the marinara sauce into the bottom of the dish and spread it evenly.
Layering
  1. Arrange a quarter of the ravioli over the sauce, leaving space between each piece.
  2. Sprinkle a generous handful of mozzarella over the ravioli layer.
  3. Repeat the layering process with marinara, ravioli, and mozzarella for three to four layers, finishing with mozzarella on top.
Baking
  1. Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake covered for 30 minutes.
  2. Remove the foil and bake for another 15 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
Serving
  1. Sprinkle parmesan cheese and fresh chopped basil or parsley on top before serving.
  2. Let the lasagna rest for about 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

For best results, don't overcrowd the ravioli layers. Use a mix of cheeses for deeper flavor. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
