Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 400°F and lightly coat a 9x13-inch casserole dish with cooking spray.
- Pour about a quarter of the marinara sauce into the bottom of the dish and spread it evenly.
Layering
- Arrange a quarter of the ravioli over the sauce, leaving space between each piece.
- Sprinkle a generous handful of mozzarella over the ravioli layer.
- Repeat the layering process with marinara, ravioli, and mozzarella for three to four layers, finishing with mozzarella on top.
Baking
- Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake covered for 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for another 15 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
Serving
- Sprinkle parmesan cheese and fresh chopped basil or parsley on top before serving.
- Let the lasagna rest for about 10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
For best results, don't overcrowd the ravioli layers. Use a mix of cheeses for deeper flavor. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
