- In a large pot over medium heat, melt the butter completely.

- Add the Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and salt and pepper to taste.
Cooking
- Slowly whisk in the chicken broth and half and half until smooth.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then add the dry pasta.
- Reduce to a simmer and cook until the pasta is al dente, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in the cooked chicken, grated parmesan, and shredded mozzarella cheese until melted.
Serving
- Ladle the soup into bowls and garnish with fresh basil and parsley.
- Serve immediately while hot.
Notes
