Preparation
- Pat your salmon fillets and shrimp dry with a paper towel.
- Sprinkle paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper over both the salmon and shrimp. Rub the seasoning in gently.
Cooking
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down and sear for about 4 minutes.
- Flip the salmon and cook for another 2-4 minutes until almost fully cooked. Transfer the salmon to a plate.
- In the same skillet, add the seasoned shrimp and cook for about 1 minute per side until pink. Remove the shrimp from the skillet.
- Melt the butter in the same skillet and add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds.
- Pour in the heavy cream and broth, letting it simmer gently for about 2 minutes.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and then add the chopped spinach until wilted.
- Return the salmon to the skillet and cook until fully cooked through, then add the shrimp for 30-60 seconds and stir in the lemon juice.
- Spoon the sauce over the seafood and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve immediately.
