Ingredients
  

For the Salmon
  • 1 pound skinless salmon fillets Fresh salmon works best but frozen can be used in a pinch.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional) Adjust to taste.

For the Bang Bang Sauce
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup Thai sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha Adjust based on spice tolerance.
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel before cutting them into roughly 1-inch cubes.
  2. Drizzle the cubes with olive oil and mix in garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Toss gently until every cube is evenly coated.
Cooking
  1. Choose your cooking method: skillet, bake, or air fryer.
  2. For skillet: Heat a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat and cook the salmon cubes for 2 to 3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  3. For baking: Preheat oven to 400°F and bake on a parchment-lined baking sheet for 10 to 12 minutes.
  4. For air fryer: Cook at 375°F for 8 to 10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Saucing
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Thai sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice until smooth.
  2. Taste and adjust ingredients as needed.
Serving
  1. Once salmon is cooked, rest for a minute before adding sauce.
  2. Toss salmon in the bang bang sauce or drizzle over for a lighter coating.
  3. Serve immediately, garnished with lime wedges.
