Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 1 cup Pineapple juice (preferably 100% juice) Sweet, ripe pineapple juice enhances the flavor.
  • 2 cups Frozen pineapple chunks Use good-quality frozen chunks without added syrup or fillers.
  • 2 scoops Vanilla ice cream For a dairy-free option, use dairy-free ice cream.

Method

Preparation
  1. Add your pineapple juice, frozen pineapple chunks, and vanilla ice cream directly into the blender.
  2. Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy, about 1 minute.
  3. Stop the blender and scrape down the sides with a spatula if needed.
  4. Adjust the consistency by adding a splash of pineapple juice if too thick, or adding more frozen pineapple or ice cream if too thin.
  5. Blend again briefly to achieve a soft-serve consistency.
  6. Serve immediately for the best texture, or freeze for 20 to 30 minutes for a firmer version.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer. Let sit at room temperature for 5 to 10 minutes before serving. Stir or re-blend briefly after freezing for the best texture. Best consumed within 2 to 3 days.
