Preparation
- Start by placing your room-temperature cream cheese into a large mixing bowl along with the chunky peanut butter. Beat these together on medium speed until smooth and creamy.
- Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract to the mixture, mixing on low speed until blended into a smooth filling.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until it forms stiff peaks.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the peanut butter mixture using a rubber spatula.
- Fold in the Reese's Pieces and chopped mini peanut butter cups until evenly distributed.
- Spoon the filling into the prepared pie crust, smoothing the top.
- Sprinkle extra Reese's Pieces and chopped mini cups on top as garnish.
- Cover the pie and freeze for at least 3 hours, or overnight for best texture.
- Allow the pie to sit for 5 to 10 minutes after removing from the freezer before slicing with a warm knife.
- Drizzle chocolate sauce over each slice right before serving.
Notes
Use a warm knife for cleaner slices. Store covered in the freezer for up to two weeks. Add toppings just before serving to maintain freshness.
