Ingredients
  

For the Filling
  • 1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend)
  • 1 tube refrigerated biscuit dough (8-count)
  • ½ cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • 4 ounces mozzarella cheese, cut into 8 cubes
For the Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
For the Finish
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and cook for 5-7 minutes until browned.
  3. Spoon off any excess fat from the skillet.
  4. Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper to the cooked beef and mix well.
  5. Remove from heat and let the mixture cool slightly.
Assembly
  1. Flatten each biscuit into a circle about 4 inches in diameter.
  2. Spoon about 2 tablespoons of seasoned beef mixture into the center of each biscuit.
  3. Top with one mozzarella cube, gather and pinch the edges to seal.
  4. Roll each sealed bomb gently into a round shape and place seam-side down on a baking sheet.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  2. Once removed from the oven, brush each bomb with melted butter and sprinkle with grated parmesan and parsley before serving.

Notes

For best results, keep the biscuit dough cold and ensure each bomb is sealed tightly. These can be assembled ahead of time and stored in the fridge before baking.
