Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- In a large mixing bowl, add the ground chicken, Parmesan, breadcrumbs, parsley, minced garlic, egg, oregano, salt, and pepper. Pour in the milk.
- Mix everything together by hand, but do not overmix to avoid a dense texture.
- Split the mixture into four equal portions and shape them into individual loaves.
- Arrange the loaves on the prepared baking sheet, drizzle olive oil on top, and space them out.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes. If using mozzarella, sprinkle it on during the last 5 minutes of baking.
- Check for doneness with a meat thermometer, which should read 165°F (74°C).
- Let the loaves rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat gently to maintain moisture.
