Method

Roasting the Garlic
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  2. Slice about a quarter inch off the top of the garlic head, exposing the tops of the individual cloves.
  3. Drizzle olive oil generously over the cut surface, letting it seep down between the cloves.
  4. Wrap the whole head tightly in aluminum foil and place it directly on the oven rack or a small baking sheet.
  5. Roast for about 35 to 40 minutes, until the cloves turn deeply golden and feel soft when pressed.
  6. Let it cool for ten minutes before handling.
Building the Cheesy Garlic Filling
  1. Once cooled, squeeze the roasted cloves directly out of their skins into a mixing bowl.
  2. Mash them with a fork until they turn into a smooth, spreadable paste.
  3. Add the softened cream cheese, mozzarella, parmesan, marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes.
  4. Stir everything together until fully combined and creamy throughout.
  5. Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed.
Assembling the Sliders
  1. Lower the oven temperature to 375°F.
  2. Slice the dinner rolls horizontally through the middle, keeping them connected.
  3. Spread the garlic cheese filling evenly across the bottom half.
  4. Place the top half of the rolls back over the filling and press down gently.
  5. Brush the tops generously with melted butter.
Baking the Sliders
  1. Bake the sliders in the oven for 18 to 20 minutes, or until the top is golden and cheese bubbles out.
  2. Let them rest for two to three minutes before serving.

Notes

For the best flavor, always roast the garlic and do not skip on letting the cream cheese soften fully.
