Ingredients

Chocolate Layers
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips, divided 1 cup for the first layer, 1 cup for the final layer
  • 7 tablespoons creamy peanut butter, divided 3 tablespoons for the first layer, 3 tablespoons for the final layer
Nougat Layer
  • 1.5 cups marshmallow crème fluff
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
Crunch Layer
  • 1 cup unsalted roasted peanuts
Caramel Layer
  • 11 ounces caramels (about 35 pieces)
  • 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream

Method

Prepare Chocolate Layer
  1. Set up your double boiler over gently simmering water. Add 1 cup of chocolate chips and 3 tablespoons of peanut butter. Stir slowly until smooth. Pour into a parchment-lined baking dish and freeze for about 10 minutes.
Prepare Nougat Layer
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine marshmallow crème fluff, 1/4 cup peanut butter, and powdered sugar until thick and fluffy. Press evenly over the chilled chocolate base.
Add Peanuts
  1. Scatter peanuts over the nougat layer and gently press them down.
Prepare Caramel Layer
  1. In the double boiler, combine caramels and heavy whipping cream. Heat gently until completely melted and smooth. Drizzle over the peanut layer and refrigerate for about 20 minutes.
Finalize Layers
  1. Melt the remaining 1 cup chocolate chips and 3 tablespoons peanut butter. Pour over the set caramel layer and smooth out. Refrigerate until fully hardened, about 20-30 minutes.
  2. Remove from the dish using parchment paper and slice into clean squares.

Notes

For best results, chill each layer before adding the next. Use a warm, sharp knife for cutting.
