Preparation
- Prep your peaches by washing them, cutting them in half, and removing the pit. Peel if preferred for smoother texture.
- Peel bananas and break into chunks for easier blending.
Juicing and Zesting
- Juice the lemon to get about three tablespoons of juice.
- If using lemon zest, zest the lemon before juicing.
Blending
- In the blender, add milk and yogurt first to create a fluid base.
- Add banana chunks, peach pieces, lemon juice, zest, and honey (if using). Finally, add ice cubes.
- Blend on low speed for 10 seconds, then increase to high speed and blend for 45-60 seconds until smooth.
Taste and Adjust
- Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness or thickness as desired by adding honey or milk.
Serving
- Pour into glasses and serve immediately. Garnish with lemon or peach slices if desired.
Notes
Store any leftover smoothie in a sealed jar for up to 24 hours. Shake before consuming as separation occurs.
