Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F and grease 12 muffin cups or line them with paper liners.
Combine the Dry Ingredients
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder until evenly combined.
Mix the Wet Ingredients
- In a measuring cup, add the vegetable oil and egg, and pour in enough milk to reach the 1-cup mark. Mix well until frothy.
Combine Wet and Dry
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients. Stir just until combined, leaving small lumps.
Fill the Muffin Cups
- Divide the batter among the muffin cups, filling each about two-thirds full.
Add and Swirl the Nutella
- Spoon about a tablespoon of Nutella on top of each filled cup and swirl gently with a toothpick to create ribbons.
Bake
- Bake for 14 to 18 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
Cool Before Serving
- Let muffins cool in the tin for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
