Ingredients
  

For the crust
  • 25 cookies 25 Oreo cookies, for the crust
  • 5 tablespoons 5 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
For the filling
  • 8 ounces 8 ounces cream cheese, softened Make sure it's fully softened for the best texture.
  • 3/4 cup 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups 2 cups whipped topping, thawed Use high-quality for ideal texture.
  • 10 cookies 10 Oreo cookies, chopped, for the filling
  • Extra crushed Oreos, for garnish, optional Garnish with additional crushed cookies or chocolate shavings.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Crush the 25 Oreo cookies in a food processor until they turn into fine crumbs.
  2. Melt the 5 tablespoons of unsalted butter and combine with the cookie crumbs.
  3. Press the cookie mixture into the bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie plate, then set aside.
Making the filling
  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with 3/4 cup powdered sugar until smooth.
  2. Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping and then mix in the 10 chopped Oreo cookies.
Assembling and chilling
  1. Spoon the filling into the prepared crust and smooth the top.
  2. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before slicing.

Notes

For best results, chill the pie overnight. Use low-fat cream cheese if desired. You can also add fruit to the filling or a drizzle of chocolate syrup for an extra touch.
