  • 18 cookies 18 Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 8 ounces 8 ounces cream cheese, softened Let sit at room temperature for at least 30 minutes
  • 1 cup 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups 2 cups whipped cream or thawed whipped topping Gently fold into the mixture

Method

Preparation
  1. Place your Oreo cookies into a zip-top bag and seal it most of the way, leaving a small gap for air to escape. Crush them into small, uneven pieces.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  3. Using a hand mixer, beat the cream cheese mixture on medium speed until creamy and smooth, about 2 minutes.
  4. Fold in the whipped cream gently with a spatula.
  5. Add in the crushed Oreo cookies and stir until evenly distributed.
  6. Transfer the dip into a serving bowl and smooth the top with a spatula. Garnish with extra crushed Oreos if desired.
  7. You can serve immediately or chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes for a thicker texture.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Avoid freezing, as the texture may turn grainy. Stir gently before re-serving if any separation occurs.
