  • 1/4 cup Sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • 1 tablespoon Lime juice
For Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 stalks Green onion, sliced

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, honey, and lime juice for the bang bang sauce. Set it in the fridge.
  3. In a shallow bowl, combine flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly.
  4. In another bowl, whisk the egg with buttermilk and hot sauce until frothy.
  5. Prepare three bowls in order: dry mixture, wet mixture, and panko breadcrumbs.
Coating the Shrimp
  1. Dip each shrimp into the dry mixture, then into the wet mixture, and finally coat it in panko breadcrumbs.
  2. Place the coated shrimp on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between them.
Baking
  1. Spray the shrimp lightly with cooking oil before baking.
  2. Bake for 10 minutes, flip the shrimp, and bake another 8–10 minutes until golden.
  3. Let the shrimp cool briefly for about 2 minutes before drizzling with the bang bang sauce.
Serving
  1. Garnish with chopped parsley and sliced green onions. Serve immediately.

Notes

Pat shrimp dry before coating to avoid sogginess. Don't skip the cooking spray for better browning. Adjust hot sauce for desired spiciness. Best served warm immediately.
