Ingredients
  

For the Filling
  • 8 ounces Cream cheese, softened Make sure it is fully softened for a smooth filling.
  • 1 cup Whipped topping
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup Powdered sugar
For the Pinwheels
  • 6 large Flour tortillas (10-inch)
  • 1 cup Strawberries, diced Use fresh strawberries.
  • 1 cup Blueberries Use fresh blueberries.
  • 12 pieces Mini American flags, for garnish For decoration.

Method
 

Prepare the Cream Cheese Filling
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, whipped topping, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar.
  2. Using an electric mixer, whip until light and fluffy, about two minutes, scraping down the sides to ensure thorough mixing.
Spread the Filling onto the Tortillas
  1. Lay a flour tortilla flat and spread an even layer of the cream cheese filling, leaving a half-inch border around the edge.
  2. Repeat with each tortilla.
Add the Strawberries and Blueberries
  1. Sprinkle diced strawberries and blueberries evenly across the cream cheese layer on each tortilla, pressing gently into the filling.
Roll the Tortillas into Logs
  1. Starting from one edge, roll the tortilla tightly, tucking the filling and fruit inward. Ensure the roll is snug.
  2. Repeat the process with all tortillas.
Wrap and Chill the Rolls
  1. Wrap each tortilla log in plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
Slice into Pinwheels
  1. Unwrap each roll and slice into 1-inch thick rounds using a serrated knife.
  2. Arrange on a serving tray.
Add the Finishing Touch
  1. Insert a mini American flag into the top of each pinwheel before serving.

Notes

For best results, chill longer than 30 minutes if you want firmer slices. Make sure to prep every ingredient beforehand to keep the process smooth.
