Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and let it fully preheat.
- Line your baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
- Blot the 24 pepperoni slices with a paper towel to remove excess oil.
- Arrange the blotted pepperoni slices on the baking sheet, spaced at least 1 inch apart.
- In a small bowl, combine the mozzarella cheese with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Mix well.
- Top each pepperoni slice with 1 to 1.5 teaspoons of the seasoned cheese mixture, spreading evenly.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes until the cheese is golden brown and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let the crisps rest on a cooling rack for 3 to 5 minutes.
- Serve with marinara sauce or ranch dressing for dipping.
Notes
Best enjoyed fresh and warm. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days. Re-crisp in the oven or air fryer.
