Preparation
- Line a 9x9-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal. Spritz lightly with non-stick cooking spray.
Making the Fudge
- In a medium saucepan, combine sweetened condensed milk, dry cake mix, and white chocolate chips. Stir over medium heat.
- Stir constantly for 5 to 7 minutes until smooth and glossy, ensuring no lumps remain.
- Remove from heat and gently fold in chopped candied pineapple until evenly distributed.
- Pour fudge mixture into the prepared baking dish and smooth out evenly.
- Garnish with maraschino cherries, pressing them gently into the surface.
- Cool at room temperature for about 2 hours or refrigerate until set. For best results, chill overnight.
Serving
- Once set, lift the fudge out using the parchment paper overhang and cut into 16 squares.
- Serve at room temperature or slightly chilled.
Notes
Whisk continuously while melting to prevent scorching. Let the fudge set overnight for the best texture. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
