  • 34 pieces Ritz crackers One standard sleeve
  • 8 ounces deli ham, thinly sliced
  • 8 ounces Swiss cheese, sliced
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted Use room temperature butter for easier mixing
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Lay half of the Ritz crackers in neat rows on a baking sheet.
  3. Layer Swiss cheese pieces on each cracker, followed by a piece of deli ham.
  4. Add a second Ritz cracker on top of each prepared stack and press down gently.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, and poppy seeds until uniform.
  6. Brush the glaze over the top of each cracker sandwich.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and crackers are golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool for 2 to 3 minutes before serving.

Notes

These sandwiches can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge. Use alternative cheeses or meats for variations, and consider serving with dips like mustard or ranch.
