Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients (Serves 2)
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries (about 8-10 medium strawberries)
  • 1 large ripe banana The riper, the sweeter.
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt or Greek yogurt For extra creaminess.
  • 1/2 cup whole milk, almond milk, or oat milk
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes Skip if using frozen strawberries.
  • 1 tablespoon honey Optional, add only if your fruit isn’t sweet enough.
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract Optional.
Optional Add-Ins
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds or flaxseeds For extra fiber.
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder For a post-workout version.
  • a few leaves mint For a fresh twist.
  • a small handful spinach You won't taste it.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Wash the strawberries thoroughly under cold running water, hull them, and prepare the banana by breaking it into 3-4 chunks.
Adding Ingredients
  1. Load ingredients into the blender starting with banana chunks, followed by strawberries, yogurt, milk, and ice cubes last.
Blending
  1. Blend on low speed for 10 seconds, then switch to high speed for 30-45 seconds until smooth.
Taste and Adjust
  1. Taste the smoothie and add honey if too tart, blend again, or adjust consistency with more milk or ice.
Serving
  1. Pour into glasses and serve immediately to enjoy the best texture.

Notes

Use frozen strawberries if fresh ones aren't in season. Always use ripe bananas for better sweetness. Clean your blender immediately after use.
