Method

Preparation

  2. If using fresh pineapple, cut away skin and core, slice into manageable chunks. If using canned pineapple, drain juice.
Blending

  2. Pour in the Silk coconut milk and add ice if using fresh fruit.
  3. Blend on high until smooth, stopping to scrape down sides as needed.
Adjusting Consistency
  1. Check the smoothie for texture. If too thick, add a splash more coconut milk and blend again.
  2. Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness with agave or sugar if necessary.
Serving
  1. Pour the smoothie into a glass, adding slice of strawberry or pineapple on the rim if desired.
  2. Enjoy immediately while cold and smooth.

Notes

Always taste before serving to adjust sweetness. Freezing ripe fruit can provide a chilled, thick consistency. Adding a tablespoon of nut butter or protein powder can enhance nutrition. Spinach can be added for extra nutrients without altering flavor.
