Method
Preparing Your Baking Sheet
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, ensuring it covers the edges with some overhang.
Mixing the Yogurt Base
- In a mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt and honey or maple syrup. Stir until smooth and creamy.
- Taste and adjust sweetness as needed based on the strawberries.
Spreading and Layering
- Pour the yogurt mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread into an even layer about half an inch thick.
- Scatter sliced strawberries across the yogurt and press them gently into the mixture.
- If using, sprinkle chopped nuts or granola, and mini chocolate chips over the top.
Freezing Until Solid
- Place the baking sheet in the freezer for at least four hours, preferably overnight.
- Check that the edges feel firm and the center shows no give.
Breaking It Into Pieces
- Once solid, lift the bark out using the parchment paper overhang and transfer to a cutting board.
- Break or cut into irregular pieces as desired.
Serving and Storing
- Serve immediately from the freezer for the best texture.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container between layers of parchment paper for up to a week.
Notes
For variations, try using different fruits, drizzling melted dark chocolate on top, or adding coconut flakes. Allow the bark to sit at room temperature for a few minutes for a softer texture before serving.
