Easy and delicious pull-apart squares made with flaky crescent rolls, tender roast beef, and melted Swiss cheese, served with warm beef broth for dipping.

Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 2 cans refrigerated crescent rolls Use flat sheet version for easier handling.
  • 0.5 pound deli-sliced roast beef Opt for thinly sliced medium-rare for the best flavor.
  • 1 cup grated Swiss cheese Grate your own for better melting.
  • 1 packet dry onion soup mix
  • 0.25 cup melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup beef broth For dipping sauce.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly spray a 9x13 inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Open the first can of crescent rolls and press the dough onto the bottom of the baking dish, sealing seams together well.
  3. Layer the deli-sliced roast beef evenly over the crescent dough.
  4. Sprinkle grated Swiss cheese uniformly over the roast beef layer.
  5. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, onion soup mix, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder.
  6. Drizzle the butter mixture over the cheese layer.
  7. Open the second can of crescent rolls and lay it over the filling, sealing the seams tightly.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes until top layer is golden brown.
  2. While baking, warm beef broth in a saucepan without boiling.
Serving
  1. Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before cutting into 12 squares.
  2. Serve each square with a cup of warm beef broth for dipping.

Notes

For best results, do not skip the non-stick spray and let the dish rest before cutting.
